Viewable Content in Reach

By default, all Reach content is viewable by all team members, and all new content added to the platform is viewable.

The one exception to this are our Preventing and Addressing Harassment courses, which are not viewable by non-admins automatically. If you add these courses to your account, you will need to determine which ones — Foundations for Employees, Foundations for Supervisors, and Bystander Intervention — are viewable for your different groups. We recommend creating dynamic groups based on a team member’s management status and locations to streamline this process.

Generally we recommend keeping all content viewable to learners. In the limited circumstances in which this is not the preference and there is a desire to modify the content team members can view:

  • Go to the Team page and click on “Manage Content,” either for all team members or for particular groups.
  • Uncheck the “viewable” box next to any courses, microlearnings, or resources you want to hide.

Note: Assigned content cannot be hidden. The checkbox will be grayed-out for any content locked by assignments.

  • Click the “Save” button at the top of the page.

Want to automatically hide all future content? Simply uncheck “New content viewable by default” at the bottom of the group or all team level content management pages, then click “Save.”

Note: Admins are always able to view all available content even if they are in a group with limited viewing permissions. This is to ensure that admins are able to manage assignments, troubleshoot team member questions, and explore new content that is added to the platform.
