How to Implement Off-LMS Microlearnings

Take Your Team’s Microlearnings Off-LMS!

Our microlearnings are designed to sustain ongoing learning and help all of us contribute to an inclusive culture. At Paradigm, we understand it's important to meet learners where they are, and sometimes that's outside of your LMS. With embeddable versions of our microlearnings, you can drive learning engagement on platforms your team uses regularly, such as a company intranet or employee portal.

How to Use Off-LMS Microlearnings:

  1. Confirm with your IT or Cybersecurity team that vimeo.com is on your company’s “allowlist.”
  2. Tell Paradigm the website domain where you want to embed microlearnings.
  3. Choose which microlearning(s) you want to share.
  4. Reference the Microlearnings tab of the Reach for Enterprise Course Catalog (also available in the Resources section of the Paradigm Reach demo site) and copy the corresponding Embeddable Link (column I) or the iFrame Code (column H).
  5. Follow your internal process for embedding URLs and sharing content — ensuring that you are embedding the video(s) on a page that is hosted by the domain you shared with us in Step 2
    • Note: The “Embeddable Link URL” cannot be used to create a hyperlink to the video. If you have any questions or need further support, please contact your Paradigm advisor.

Off-LMS Microlearning FAQs

Are these the same videos as the ones in the Microlearning SCORMs that come with my Paradigm Reach subscription?

Yes! These are the exact videos that are in the SCORMs you receive as part of your Paradigm Reach subscription. We created this off-LMS option after receiving feedback requesting alternate ways of sharing microlearnings.

Please note, that any branding or logos added to the SCORM files will NOT appear in this format.

Are there any other options for viewing off-LMS microlearnings? Can I use a hyperlink to share a video?

Off-LMS microlearnings are only viewable by embedding the video onto a page that is hosted on the domain you shared with us.

If you’d prefer to hyperlink to a video rather than embed it, we suggest linking to the microlearning SCORM hosted in your LMS.

Can I get any analytics or specific viewer data for off-LMS microlearnings?

To preserve the anonymity of your learners, we do not collect viewer-specific data for off-LMS microlearnings. If you are interested in tracking that information, we recommend you implement the learning via your LMS.

We are able to provide the following pieces of aggregate data for each video:

  • Views
  • Impressions
  • Finishes
  • Unique Viewers (number count only)
  • Unique Impressions
  • Average Percentage Watched
  • Average Time Watched
  • Total Time Watched
