When I assign a section to someone else, can I still work on the section as an Admin? Or do I have to wait until the user is done filling in their answers?

You cannot work on the section until the assigned user has finished and the section is ready for review (this is to avoid two people editing at the same time!). If the collaborator can’t answer all of the questions, the Admin can add themselves back as the section owner to finish up. Once the collaborator finishes the section and saves it, the Admin can review, edit, save, and submit the section.

We’ve answered all the questions - why does progress say 50%?

We’ve designed our Talent Practices Inventory to be collaborative, with an admin user who is ultimately responsible for inviting collaborators and reviewing answers. If all the sections have completed answers and you still see your progress is at 50%, this is because the admin has not reviewed and locked all answers.

Will I be able to edit the introduction section after submitting it?

If a detail in the introduction section needs to be corrected or changed over time, contact Surface support at support@surface.ai to help to discuss those changes.
